Pottery Classes

 

Each Pottery Class will lasts 6-weeks, with class being held once a week.

The classes are designed for "Adults" only. (17 years and above) These classes are designed for Beginner Students “ONLY” and not for Intermediate, or Advanced Potters

​

I will provide a relaxed, encouraging, and positive space to create your pottery; instructions and demonstrations; individual assistance; the pottery wheel; personal storage shelf for your pottery pieces; wax for the bottom of your pots; a choice of 8-10 different glazes; and 2 kiln firings for each piece you make.

​

 1. The classes are held Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Tuesday evening from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., or Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. (each class must have at least four (4) students to make a class).

​

2. The class size is limited to a maximum of eight (8) students to assure each person gets personalized and individual attention. 

​

The cost per person is $245.00 for each six-weeks class.

 

The cost for clay and tools is: (a). One 25-pound bag of brown stoneware clay @ $29.00 + tax [includes the cost of glazing and firings]; (b). One set of tools (10-pieces) @ $19.00 + tax (Optional, you can bring your own tools); (c). One Ceramic tool holder @ $15.00 + tax (Optional you can bring your own tool holder).

The classes are held in my pottery studio near Hutto, right off Hwy 79. (One mile passed the Walmart)

​

A 25-pound bag of clay will typically lasts the entire 6 weeks).
